Esmie Austin wrote over 17 note books with words from the bible based on her interpretations.
The prayer section was formatted into a book but it is not yet edited. The last 5 years of her life she wrote so much that it is going to take a while to get all of her work down as printed copies.

Seeing her passion for writing just encouraged me to go with my passion of writing romance novels.
My best novel yet will be the one I am working on - Disoriented Lovers - With this one I believe I am a more seasoned writer.

Disoriented Lovers

Calamity was happening all around her. Discretion was not her strong suite. She played and used him and he was never going to let her get away with it. He promised himself that he was never going to speak to her again. Denise told him how much she loved him and he thought that he was lucky to have her.

Denise marry Jonathan simply to please her parents. Her status, wealth, and physical attractiveness were astounding and she was well aware of this. The balance of power in the relationship was very unequal and she made him feel as if he was very unimportant. Both of their parents had a very long standing relation. Both fathers studied at the same university. Denise father could not get a job when he got out of college, and Jonathan father lent him all his savings to start a business. The business became very successful and since then he felt indebted to Jonathan. Continued.............

SO LITTLE AND YET SO MUCH LOVE

When Mercel and Esmie had their first set of children, life was a lot simpler, yet they were very happy together as a couple. During the 50” s through the early 70” s, most Districts in Jamaica did not have electricity, running water or phones. Life was a lot less complicated and children were a lot happier. They played together and stayed together. Relationships were a lot more binding and respectful. When people died the body would stay no longer than two days before being buried. It took two days as the coffins had to be built by a district carpenter. At nights the body would be taken out of the house and put outside as it was much cooler. During the days, coffee would be burned underneath the bed to suppress the scent of the decomposition. Then in Craighead there was a town crier, Miss Larry, a poverty-stricken widow who was more than happy to get her payment from just being given a whole lot of coffee to drink.
